How to do this course

Essentially you could hop in and out of any lesson and still get something from it but the course has been designed to start at lesson 1 and for you to progress through each lesson in turn.

After you‘ve run through the whole course you can dip in and out as necessary or just continue by yourself using the audio tracks with the scales or accompany yourself using the notated scales.

Each exercise is accompanied by a demonstration video.

You will also receive a guide to the best scales to use for warming up with a PDF of the 7 scales for warming up in notated form as well as the MP3 backing track for each of the scale, in both male and female ranges. You can then download them on to your MP3 player or smartphone to take with you to use at rehearsals, in your practice sessions and for gig preparation.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email and we will respond with answers or refer you to someone who can help you.

You will be guided to decide how long you need to warm up for, when it’s required and ensure you understand how to select which exercises and scales you need to get your voice ready for your singing needs.

You can now watch the Introducing Vocal Warm Ups video

Please stop if you experience any pain, discomfort or loss of vocal quality during or after the exercises. If the symptoms persist, then seek medical advice from a laryngologist/ENT specialist or your general practitioner. You may also find it helpful to seek guidance from an experienced reputable singing/vocal coach.
